November Favourites

Can you believe it’s December already? It’s such a cliche thing to say but where has 2016 gone? I can’t quite believe I’m in my final year of uni writing my dissertation, getting ready to face the big world out there! Don’t get me wrong 2016 has been a good year, and I am really excited to see what 2017 has to hold. I am also unbelievably excited about Christmas and the fact that it’s only 22 days away. I have almost finished and wrapped all of my Christmas shopping. I think it’s safe to say I’m a bit of a Christmas enthusiast.

Now as we are in December I thought it would be a great time to look back over November and pick out a couple of my favourite things I have been using.

  1. Embroidered Jeans:
I have mentioned this before but I love, love, love my embroidered Jamie jeans from Topshop! They stitch work is so beautiful and reflects my style perfectly. Not to mention the fit is really great too and they don’t seem to go out of shape after one wear.

  2. Gingerbread Candle, Next:
I have a bit of a candle obsession. I don’t know why but in the colder months where it gets darker earlier I automatically light candles. I especially obsess over spiced, christmassy, winter smelling candles. So I couldn’t help but buy this Gingerbread candle from Next. It smells lovely, spiced yet sweet, without being to over powering. Plus it has the added bonus of stunning packaging, with a gold/copper mirrored finish (it’s the one on the left handside of the photo with the black bow on.

  3. Benefit Porefessional:
This primer WORKS. I have tried and tested countless primers that don’t really do anything. They don’t minimise my pores, they don’t help to keep my makeup on longer, or help to reduce shine. However, I have found the golden ticket. This works so well and I think it really is worth the slightly higher price point. I will say that it does run out quite fast which isn’t the best when it costs £24.50 but then again I probably am guilty of slapping a bit too much on.
  4. Marble Prints:
I found so many really beautiful different prints on the website Not On The Highstreet. I then stumbled across these marble prints with copper lettering, and  I couldn’t help but buy an A and a H for mine and Harry’s bedroom. I think that they’re a lovely addition to our bedroom and they go great with our grey and copper colour scheme.

  5. Christmas Drinks:
As I said earlier I love Christmas, and pretty much everything that goes with it. One thing I thought I ought to mention is my current addiction to all the Christmas coffees and hot chocolates. My current favourites are the orange hot chocolate and honeycomb latte both from Costa!
